The city of Boston, Watertown and Cambridge are all currently on lock down as residents have been asked not to leave their homes after a late night shootout with suspects from the Boston Marathon Bombing.
All public transportation in and out of Boston has been suspended, schools have been shut down and people are under a mandatory 24 curfew order that could be extended throughout the weekend.
Boston area residents were on high alert overnight as police stormed through the city after a late night shootout with the Boston marathon bombing suspects. As many as 15 police officers were injured and one has died.
Authorities are reporting that one suspect was killed in the shootout and the other is currently at large somewhere in the city. The second suspect is reportedly highly armed and may be carrying explosives and wearing a suicide bomber vest.
