Having you Financial life in order is going to be important to your survival in the coming years. I have been listening to a lot of different financial experts, and one of the guys that makes the most sense is Dave Ramsey. His advice on managing your money is pretty darn good, and it seems to work for a lot of people.

He is a proponent of paying off all your debts from smallest to largest, saving a three-to-six-month emergency fund, cutting up you credit cards, and growing your wealth with your current income.
