Google Earth Adds Hiking Trail Maps

Want to scout out some awesome hikes before you even set a foot on the trail? Well Google Earth has teamed up with Trimble Outdoors and added a GPS Based interactive Hiking layer for their users.

This is a awesome resource for outdoors enthusiasts, or anyone who wants to do some research before setting out on the trails. The exact trail routes can even be exported to your GPS-enabled cell phone.
