On the same day President Barack Obama announced he will be arming terrorist groups in Syria with weapons, his administration is vowing to do even more to take them away from American citizens.
Apparently they trust the terrorists more than do the people living here in the U.S.
White house Press Secretary Jay Carney told CBS News the president will be issuing even more executive orders to limit the American people’s right to bear arms. He told CBS the President is committed to implementing executive actions and reiterated his commitment to strengthening gun laws, including expanding background checks to sales online and at gun shows.
In the aftermath of yesterday’s shooting at the Navy Yard, Washington politicians are wasting no time exploiting the tragedy. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, is calling for more gun control laws and told reporters:
“This is one more event to add to the litany of massacres that occur when a deranged person or grievance killer is able to obtain multiple weapons — including a military-style assault rifle — and kill many people in a short amount of time. When will enough be enough?” asked Feinstein. “Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country. We must do more to stop this endless loss of life.”
What you’re not being told is the Real Story
Why is the Military not allowed to Carry Guns?
Shockingly, the story you’re not hearing about yesterday’s tragedy is how this was allowed to happen on a military facility in the first place.
Most people were shocked to hear that yesterday’s shooting happened at a military installation. Many Americans are wondering how the shooter was able to get so many shots off at a military base filled with so many trained military men and women. What they don’t realize, is the fact that our government doesn’t trust our military enough to carry guns here in America.
US military personnel are prohibited from carrying a firearm on most bases in this country. The people who we trust to defend our freedom are apparently not trustworthy enough to carry a gun on their own bases.
Our government has turned our military installations into targets, and have made it impossible for members of the military to protect themselves while on base. The same policies that made it possible for a terrorist to execute 13 members of the military at Fort Hood, have now caused another tragedy that could have been prevented if our military was allowed to protect themselves.
