House Bill 85, aka the Wyoming Doomsday Bill, was narrowly defeated today by State Legislators in Wyoming. The Wyoming House of Representatives voted 30-27 against the bill; 31 votes were needed to pass the bill.

Apparently the thought of actually being prepared for a worse case scenario sent many lawmakers into political panic mode. Instead of truthfully dealing with the subject, and admitting that the country might be in trouble, a couple of politicians seem to have sabotaged the bill.

State Rep. Dan Zwonitzer (R-Cheyenne) told the press that lawmakers did not even debate the bill before the vote. He complained that proposals for the state to look into purchasing an aircraft carrier were added by lawmakers in an attempt to defeat the bill. Once the news hit the Mainstream Media the bill was ridiculed and tuned into a joke.

The bills original intent, before politics became an issue, was to look at how the state would handle a total collapse of the nation’s economy. It would have created a task force to look into how Wyoming would protect its citizens from disruptions in food and energy supplies, an economic collapse, and even a total meltdown of the federal government.

While the government may not be willing to truthfully deal with the facts, people need to take notice of what happened here. The very fact that these things are being publicly talked about by our government officials, should send off warning bells to anyone who is paying attention.

It’s time to start prepping yourself and your family for the possibility of a real SHTF situation hitting this country.

I have just recently got on board with Off Grid Survival and I was pulling for that bill to be passed. I believe everyone not supporting this is going to create a SHTF situation.

I was all for the bill…but when you start talking about an ” Aircraft Carrier ” when you are a Land locked State…In a SHTF scenario you would have to travel WEST to water. Lets look at that for a min. Cal. will be in total unrest Between the gangs and the mexicans wanting Cal. back in mexico.. Oregon bunch of liberal retards and hippies they are not going to let you through and same goes for Washington….Great idea ..but you should have left out the Aircraft Carrier and when SHTF….YOU TAKE IT..

    • Wyoming would have kept their aircraft carrier in the Gulf of Mexico, the Carribean, or off the coast of California in international waters, and used it as a refueling stop in the case where there was no safe land to use between Wyoming and whatever country just sold them their supplies. It was never meant to be located within the state.

The aircraft carrier was trown in to make the bill a joke so it could be defeated.

Has anyone seen the series Jericho?

Wyoming had their own government there too lol

Yes, also seen jerimiah series…..it’s a more realistic of what could very well lay ahead

The BS about a draft, jet fighters and a carrier were intentionally add in to make the bill so absurd that it would be voted down.

The originator of this bill I know personally and is lives in my town. He never went into detail on it because of legal issues before the vote. But he flat stated that the add in’s were going to probably sink the bill and that other reps and outside influences did it intentionally.

So…somebody. Name names. Who were the “reps” that threw the crap in and intentionally sabotaged this bill? This info needs to be OUT THERE so they can be VOTED OUT.

This is America!!!!!!! The American people can get ANYTHING done started or finished. It is times like this that it appears that the American people sometimes question themselves about getting things done. That is the only problem that was apparent during the voting. We questioned ourselves. There is nothing that we can not do PERIOD.
