Wyoming Doomsday Bill Killed by State Legislators
House Bill 85, aka the Wyoming Doomsday Bill, was narrowly defeated today by State Legislators in Wyoming. The Wyoming House of Representatives voted 30-27 against the bill; 31 votes were needed to pass the bill.
Apparently the thought of actually being prepared for a worst case scenario sent many lawmakers into political panic mode. Instead of truthfully dealing with the subject, and admitting that the country might be in trouble, a couple of politicians seem to have sabotaged the bill.
State Rep. Dan Zwonitzer (R-Cheyenne) told the press that lawmakers did not even debate the bill before the vote. He complained that proposals for the state to look into purchasing an aircraft carrier were added by lawmakers in an attempt to defeat the bill. Once the news hit the Mainstream Media the bill was ridiculed and tuned into a joke.
The bills original intent, before politics became an issue, was to look at how the state would handle a total collapse of the nation’s economy. It would have created a task force to look into how Wyoming would protect its citizens from disruptions in food and energy supplies, an economic collapse, and even a total meltdown of the federal government.
While the government may not be willing to truthfully deal with the facts, people need to take notice of what happened here. The very fact that these things are being publicly talked about by our government officials, should send off warning bells to anyone who is paying attention.
It’s time to start prepping yourself and your family for the possibility of a real SHTF situation hitting this country.
