Unhinged protestors took to the street for the second night in a row in cities across America. The protestors, most of whom had no idea what they were even protesting, blocked highways and roads, smashed windows and created a public hazard for most of the night.
In California, protests broke out in Oakland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Los Angeles police declared a citywide tactical alert Sunday when several hundred people took to the streets.
In Oakland, Protestors merged with the Occupy groups to set fires and smash the windows out of of several businesses in the city.
In New York, thousands of protesters spread throughout the streets of Manhattan culminating in a “shut down, sit down” protest in Times Square around 9.30 p.m.
Protests are expected to continue throughout the week, and Occupy groups in Oakland are threatening more chaos tonight. The group took to Twitter to tell their followers to wear all black for anonymity.
