Currently the Western United States, from California all the way to the heart of Texas, is in the middle of one of the worst droughts in quite some time. Because of the drought conditions, and an increasing demand for organic food, organic food shortages are being reported all over the country. And to make matters worse, this year the size of the U.S. cattle herd has dropped to a 61 year low.
