A theoretical report about the future use of the military as a police force within the United States is causing a firestorm of controversy. The report, Full Spectrum Operations in the Homeland: A “Vision” of the Future, was written by a retired Army Colonel and describes how future warfare will be conducted on American soil. The report depicts a scenario where the U.S. Military will have to use its power against the American public.
The study begins by laying out how the U.S. Army’s Operating Concept 2016-2028 will include military operations throughout the United States. The outrageous report goes on to describe a theoretical situation where the U.S. Army is sent in to a city that has been taken over by Tea Party “insurrectionists”.
The report starts in an eerie almost prophetic tone and then goes on to demonize tea party members and “immigrant-bashing by right-wing demagogues”…
“The Great Recession of the early twenty-first century lasts far longer than anyone anticipated. After a change in control of the White House and Congress in 2012, the governing party cuts off all funding that had been dedicated to boosting the economy or toward relief…” “…. By 2016, the economy shows signs of reawakening, but the middle and lower-middle classes have yet to experience much in the way of job growth or pay raises. Unemployment continues to hover perilously close to double digits, small businesses cannot meet bankers’ terms to borrow money, and taxes on the middle class remain relatively high. A high-profile and vocal minority has directed the public’s fear and frustration at nonwhites and immigrants. After almost ten years of race-baiting and immigrant-bashing by right-wing demagogues, nearly one in five Americans reports being vehemently opposed to immigration, legal or illegal, and even U.S.-born nonwhites have become occasional targets for mobs of angry whites.”
After demonizing what they call “right-wing demagogues” and “mobs of angry whites” the report goes on to say:
“In May 2016 an extremist militia motivated by the goals of the “tea party” movement takes over the government of Darlington, South Carolina…. The Department of Homeland Security responds to the governor’s request by asking for defense support to civil law enforcement. After the Department of Justice states that the conditions in Darlington and surrounding areas meet the conditions necessary to invoke the Insurrection Act, the President invokes it.”
The shocking report goes into great detail as to how the U.S. Military could be used to stop a “Tea Party Movement.” What’s even more disturbing is the fact that the retired U.S. Army colonel who wrote the report now teaches modern warfare to soldiers at the University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies at Fort Leavenworth. This wackjob, who is making the case for using the military on its own people, is actually teaching our soldiers and indoctrinating them with this vicious hate filled garbage.
This study comes at a time when the U.S. Military has been seen ramping up its efforts to train here on American Soil. We have detailed numerous occasions where the Military has been asked to take part in urban warfare training on the streets of Chicago, Miami, New Jersey, Tampa, and Los Angeles. It also follows our report on the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to prepare for a civil uprising and the Obama Administrations numerous unconstitutional executive orders that seem to be making way for martial law.
With the publication of this article, it’s clear that many in the government now consider the average American Citizen to be a threat. Why else would they allow this material to be offered as a training tool to military personnel? Why else would they be pushing the narrative that tea party groups are filled with Anti-American “racist” “extremist right wingers?”
So then why is it they are being used currently to control the Occupy movement? We all should recognize that we are all targets of our government if we go against our corporate overlords. Conservatives and Liberals are both at risk in this fight for our freedom from greed. We all just want to live happy and free.

Don’t forget ‘military personnel’ are Americans too. They have families, friends – we are not monsters or mindless drones. I do not believe and refuse to believe our military will turn on its own public. There’s a difference between violent people and everyday people. The ‘urban warfare’ is training in-case of at home attack. Wouldn’t you want troops to know the ground they are fighting for? Some of this stuff is getting down right ridiculous for panic response. Don’t get me wrong I agree with being prepared for anything, but don’t try to cause military folks stress or civilians stress by making it sound like we are out to get them. Not true. I am a military wife and American civilian, so is my husband and all the men and women he works with – thank you very much.
I agree with you that 99% of our military is honorable and believe in the oath they took. Unfortunately current policies are trying to drive those that believe in their oath out of the military.
The article in no way is meant to suggest that the current military will turn on the public. The problem as we see it is with the upper brass,the politicians and those calling the shots. They seem to be trying to change the military and its core values. They seem to want a military that will would follow whatever orders they’re given.
In my opinion, this report is just another example of how they’re trying to shape the future military. This along with many other policies are driving a lot of the patriots right out of the military. If that happens, and those just joining are receiving this type of indoctrination, I fear what the future military will look like. I’ve talked to a great number of those currently serving, and those who have served in the past, who feel the same way.

The main purpose of our article was to get people to realize what they’re trying to do to the military and how they’re trying to reshape the future military. In my opinion they fear the current military. I think they know that most of them would never follow these types of orders and I think that’s why they are trying to push them out.

Good to know that when it happens, I have support from military and their families as well. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone in my beliefs. One day the government is going to go too far (probably between now and 2016) and the people will shout “enough!” I will be there that day. Will you?
You forget that ‘the’ administration has been hiring/training a specialized force that reports only to a very few at the top of the food chain. AND the USPS has over a billion (with a b ) rounds of ammunition in case they decide to go postal on the general population of America.
Already the DOJ is bringing multi-million dollar lawsuits against various police departments, promising to drop the suit IF the department will sign an agreement to federal control. Remember, potus said we need a national police force in the US…
just to say something about some of the former post. i am serving the army now and i know the mentality of senior leaders. they would roll down the streets right now if they got the order, gunning down any and every civilian that was considered a “combatente” and expect there troops to do the same. thats why when this last term is up, im outta here and heading for the hills.

As an Active Duty soldier I somehow doubt that the Armed Forces of the United States are going to start gunning down our citizens. This whole thing is an exercise. In case some extremist group in our own country starts receiving foreign funds and support. For Christ’s sake, do you really think that anyone is going to start gunning down the already culturally irrelevant Tea Party? The people who start their peaceful protests with the Pledge of Allegiance?
Let’s take a deep breath and a reality check. The men and women of our Armed Forces are patriots who believe in a cause greater than themselves (which is much more than those ‘preppers’ who are only worried about taking care of #1 after a major event). We are patriots sacrificing everything so that people with too much time and money on their hands can build their compounds in Idaho in preparation for ‘The Big One.’
Here’s an idea – if you love this country and our freedom so much – enlist! Or run for office – it doesn’t have to be big: mayor, city councilman, state representative. Start changing things at home – America has a chance if good people actually try! So instead of sitting around sweating, waiting for something terrible to happen; reach down between your legs, grab your manhood (like I did, and yes, it’s hard but worth it) and go out there and be the change you want to see in your country.
Or sit in your bunker in Idaho and sweat. It’s okay. I’ll be out there keeping you safe.

If that is what you think the Civil War was then you are beyond help my friend. It was people feeling the oppression of the government and attempting to be heard, and all history remembers is the slavery issue. The war was about the principals between a strong federal gov. (north) and strong state gov (south) and I may live in the North but I support the South’s ideals. Strong fed gov has gotten us into the problems we are dealing with, a strong state gov would have prevented that.

I am going to take this time to say a few words. First, this has been coming ever since President Obama enacted the NDAA of 2012. All of the people that ignored our cries for help are now starting to see the truth. After all, President Obama is hardly even trying to hide it. We the people allowed a non American immigrant to become our president and we are surprised that he has allowed immigrants to come across our borders and take our jobs? I am not a racist white, it is ALL OF OUR JOBS! Black, White, Latino, Asian, Islander or Arabic, if you are born here, you don’t matter anymore. Our government feels it is in their best interest to give our tax money to illegal aliens for things like health care and babysitting. Meanwhile, our own CITIZENs who NEED that VERY help, are left to end up homeless. I do not fear a military takeover, in fact I know it is coming. The question I pose to all of you reading this is, what are we gonna do about this? Are we going to allow this travesty to stand? Are we going to allow our government to continue to walk all over us, doing whatever they want? No longer does our government support the Constitution that our forefather’s wrote. Things like our right to bear arms, our freedom of speech, the right to habeas corpus, the fact that our MILITARY are not supposed to be in OUR STREETS policing us. I am a vet as well. I also have been researching all these conspiracy theories and find many to be true. Concentration camps, chem trails, UN gun control laws n the US, One World government, foreign troops here in US, food shortages. Folks, we are under attack by a corrupt and un American government that is hell bent on taking away the rights and freedoms we have fought for and they will stop at nothing. Outright rebelion is an extreme risk for the cause of liberty. I think it is important to note how our cia, mi6 and others have manipulated movements in syria, libya and countless other nations through history to invoke rebellions and then control and manipulate the resulting new governments in order to obtain the mineral rights, pipeline rights and whatever other things they are looking to obtain from their collonial vassals.
What we accomplished 236 years ago was rare even then. Just look at all the other countries like our Canadian and Australian friends that are still, at least in part, colonies of Britain. Great and repectable men amongst our founding fathers are responsible for much of that. And the colonies already being mostly independently governed before hand made that easier. Certainly large portions of our governing systems are still at the local and state level. But a majority of our population looks to the federal goverment. How many times have you heard someone complain about a law or lack of a law in regards to their federal representative when the issue they speak of is inregards to a city, county or state legislation?
Of course with all that said.. we do have a great constitution that most value, even though much ignorance and ambivalience has allowed it to be ignored. I think most of us would agree that the goal is to get back to obeying our Constitutional law. Whether rebellious warfare becomes needed or not, the bigger requirement for winning back our liberty is to remove that ignorance and ambivalence. The ambivalence will probably strip away as our fascist regieme gets harsher, but it will be a major “infowar” to convince the majority that our problems are caused by lack of liberty rather than too much freedom. The other side has developed a culture that depends on television to tell them what to think. I can’t tell you how many times I have won the logical debate with others only to run into a wall when they just refuse to change their mind on a subconscious emotional level. This is an uphill battle. The occupyers are on our side. They are already with us when it comes to seeing the problem. All we need to do is convince them that the federal government is not the solution. They can always accomplish their legislative goals in a more controllable and defensible local city or county government.
Sometimes i wonder if Obama wants this to happen so he can be in control and run a 3rd term. This man is scarey. I hope he is not another want to be a dictator and control everyone. We will see
I haven’t read the linked piece yet, but I am hoping that it is written as a cautionary tale rather than instructive fiction.
Having read the report (and many of the comments on the site), one does not have to be a military planner to realize a few things:
a) the authors of the report need to come out of the ivory tower, and back to earth, to get a reality check;
b) there’s a reason most military training exercise planners used thinly veiled allusions to the former USSR, Iraq, Afg., etc…..it’s to avoid insulting people.
c) the authors of this exercise/paper have just stepped in it big time. I don’t envy them the flak they’ve just brought on themselves…by those leaving comments, by the brass (who now have massive bad PR over this), and anyone else.
d) it would be useful to have some “red teaming” over, say, an actual OWS/anarcist attack. When/if that ever happens, let me know.
Otherwise, after reading this, I had to laugh for a while. It was obviously not properly vetted, but does expose some highly educated fools in our gov’t.
Well I for one am not against being “vehemently opposed to immigration, legal or illegal” as one of the conditions in the “Vision” of Kevin Benson and Jennifer Weber. How many other countries have strict immigration policies, with financial requirements imposed to even be considered? I could even agree with a potential scenario of “immigrant-bashing” by more groups than their so-called “right-wing demagogues.”
I would also concede that invoking The Declaration of Independence arguing, “that the current form of the federal government is not deriving its ‘just powers from the consent of the governed’ but is actually ‘destructive to these ends’” is not as far-fetched as some may believe; in fact I would say that is a fairly accurate today, let alone in 2016.
However, the “Vision” also portraits a contradiction; where if there is “support of not only local law enforcement but also state government officials, right up to the governor,” why would the governor request for DHS intervention of “civil law enforcement” while the majority of the state officials and LEO are on board? Also, if the local and state LEO is on board with the rest of the state, I do not see the critical support of these individuals being willing to work with DHS.
As for “searching for illegal aliens” that is already underway today, just drive through southern border states and see how many times you get stopped on public roads by government officials asking if you are an American citizen! Additionally, toll roads are already in place, and have been in place for decades under the premise of road maintenance; who is to say those funds are not being robbed from Peter to pay Paul and finance military budgets?
As for “media scrutiny,” I believe the microscopic investigations by any media source today is as biased as the people that pay their wages. I know when my boss tells me to do a job a specific way this week, which was different than last week, I do it, knowing full well that the method to be used next week could be just as different as what is being done today.
I find the “Vision” to be an article of fiction, worthy of posting on the outhouse wall for recycling purposes. I must also agree with comments on that post that the authors seem to be “enamored by ‘The Imposter-In-Chief’” and need to investigate further the subject of “repressive regimes.”
I would go one step further and say that if it does get to the point described in this “Vision”, we are all screwed.

I would agree that the majority of military and LEO’s would not follow specious or outlandish orders that contradict the Constitution. I would be more afraid of UN forces from outside the US, that might not care one way or another of our Constitutional Rights; they’re just blindly following what they believe to be legitimate orders from what they consider a global authority.
How would the military and police react if the government declared martial law. Would they follow those orders and then start arresting citizens, confiscate guns, ammo, food, and numerous other items listed in several Executive Orders? Would they question the order for martial law??? The whole lynch pin in the NWO plan is the use of the military & police to be their muscle.
My question is how would others top countries handle something like this if their country was getting out of control l? Kinda curious because-our issues seem to be getting worse. She is releasing a song that is most likely going to be one of the greatest hits giving respect to our vets I have ever heard. She supports so many veterans, hunters, and even though she gets negative media due to her stand on guns, she hangs in there. Worth checking out all. Her name is Kristy Lee Cook, and the song is Airborne Ranger INfantry.

Sounds like the colonel saw the Battle of Athens movie, where the “militia” performed their constitutional function and restored representative government to the people. Scary to the crooks who maintain power by illegal means.
The idea of the militia as a threat is so far fetched that it is incredible that anyone takes it seriously. Unlike government employees, these guys have real jobs, homes, families, and mortgages. The threat of insurrection is zero.
