On Monday, Biden doubled down on his claims that the 2nd amendment isn’t absolute and targeted gun owners yet again, saying that the most popular caliber handgun – the 9MM – should be banned.
Appearing in front of reporters outside the Whitehouse, the senile old man once again repeated his bizarre, and completely false claims, that the second amendment prohibited our founders from owning cannons. Then, he attacked gun owners and said there was no reason that they should be able to own “high-caliber weapons” like a 9mm handgun.
Biden made up another bizarre story, where he says he once visited a trauma hospital in New York, where he said doctors had shown him X-rays of gunshot wounds caused by various firearms.
They said a .22-caliber bullet would lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out — may be able to get it and save the life,” Biden said. “A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body. “So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of thinking about self-protection, hunting,” the president went on.

Biden’s attempt to go after the 9mm is nothing new. In fact, back in 2019, at a 2019 fundraiser in Seattle, for example, then-candidate Biden asked his audience: “Why should we allow people to have military-style weapons, including pistols with 9mm bullets and can hold ten or more rounds?”
Lies again about the 2nd amendment
Biden went on to say, “Remember, the Constitution, the Second Amendment, was never absolute,” Biden said. “You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed. You couldn’t go out and purchase a lot of weapons.” But even his liberal fact checkers over at Politifact pointed out that:
- This isn’t the first time Biden made such an assertion about the Second Amendment. Or even the second.
- He made a similar claim about cannon ownership in the Revolutionary War during his presidential campaign. Politifact rated that False.
- Then, in 2021, Biden said the Second Amendment “limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own.” False again.
The Second Amendment NEVER placed limits on individual ownership of cannons.
“Biden’s statement is completely false,” said David Kopel, the research director and Second Amendment project director at the Independence Institute. “Neither in 1791 nor in the preceding centuries was there any American law against owning particular types of arms.”
Biden’s comments came fewer than 48 hours after Vice President Kamala Harris called for an assault weapons ban.
“You know what an assault weapon is? You know how an assault weapon was designed?” Harris said Saturday. “It was designed for a specific purpose – to kill a lot of human beings quickly. An assault weapon is a weapon of war with no place, no place in a civil society.”
Of course, she is full of shit, but as usual liberal morons eat this shit up and really believe that people can walk off the street into their local Bass Pro and buy the same weapons that the military uses – THEY CAN’T!
Amazing how stupid some people are that believe this crap and the ones who spew this garbage. BUT, one with a quarter ounce of intelligence can look at Columbine, Parkland and now Uvalde.. You do not need a gun and the 911 and cops will come to your aid…WHAT A JOKE and so is the Dependo guy in the whitehouse.
It’s all about political will…our public and private schools can be “secured” if your local school board and LEOs are willing to take those steps to lock down the school buildings and campuses. Yea, it is very difficult to do this but either lock them down or suffer the possible consequences. We can learn a lot from Israel’s public school security programs. They have armed guards and most of the teachers are carrying weapons also. Israel is a combat zone I know this but if you want to keep your children safe follow their example.
