California legislators are in the process of rolling out what will be the strictest gun control laws in the country. Democrat state Legislatures rolled out a list of proposals that will instantly criminalize most of the state’s law abiding gun owners.
The new law would outlaw all semiautomatic weapons, criminalize anyone who has more than 500 rounds of ammo, and require a permit to buy ammunition in the future. California, which already has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country, is also looking at a proposal which would call for the immediate confiscation of 166,000 registered modern sporting rifles. This is why people are against Registration!
Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento, unveiled the gun control package in a news conference Thursday at the state Capitol.
The package includes:
- Banning the possession — not just manufacture and sale — of magazines holding more than 10 rounds.
- Making possession of hollow point bullets and similar “assault bullets” a felony.
- Requiring anyone wishing to buy ammunition to first get a permit by passing a background check.
- Requiring the registration and reporting of all ammo purchases. Limits the number of rounds anyone can have at one time to 500 rounds.
- Requiring all gun owners will have to be licensed like drivers, and will be forced to carry gun liability insurance.
- Banning any gun that has a detachable magazine, and requires a 100% prohibition of all fixed magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- Making all previous grandfathered magazines become illegal, and it will become a felony if you keep one.
- Prohibiting anyone barred from owning a weapon from living in a home where weapons are kept
- Expanding the list of crimes that would bar a person from gun possession.
- Letting the state Justice Department use money from the state’s Dealer’s Record of Sale system to eliminate the backlog of people identified as no longer allowed to own guns but not yet investigated and contacted by law enforcement.
These draconian laws need to be stopped. Already criminals break the laws against robbery, assault, murder, burglary, rape, kidnapping, felon possession of a firearm and more. In what world do these idiot law makers think that disarming and criminalizing law abiding people exercising their constitutional rights will stop criminals from being criminals???

Explain to me then why the crime rate is so high and there are so many gangs WITH guns I might add. And with prison overcrowding just exactly where are they going to put all the people who break his new gun laws?? I’ve got a hot idea-why not enforce the laws they already have? It appears as California will create several criminals in its actions of passing legislation to criminalize legal gun ownership, I bet they create more Dorner situations then they prevent, I am starting to think that these quote crazy people may be not crazy after all, their government is turning them into criminals so they are simply saying why not be a criminal ! just an opinion or an observation and I do not support Dorners actions, But I am just looking at this from both sides, Dorner feels he has a cause and my point is that the state may be creating a bigger situation then it can handle making so many innocent people into felons over very very bad legeslation an attempt for total gun control and confiscation, civil war is at the edge of days to come !

Count down till the arms race of 2014. If these weapons become banned the criminals will have a stranglehold on our state. More bribe money than they know what to do with. It could get ugly when a rifle that retails for $2000, jumps in value to $10000, and the only people that have them are hoods and organized crime. What I am thinking is when only the police and the criminals have weapons life as we know it will become as the book ‘brave new world’. Today police stations are bunkers. Police are not prosecuted as citizens when they kill citizens unjustly. Lawmakers are bought and paid for and their only concern is re-election. This country, unfortunately is headed in the direction of Nazi Germany in the late 1930’s. We are already systematically and arbitrarily declaring war on all countries that have what we want and won’t play our way. The connection between that and the civil disobedience it produces mandates the elimination of possible rebellion. Please remember the rebellion that produced this democracy! It started from the suppression of freedom. freedom of speech, freedom of class, freedom of tyranny.
My advice to all Kalifornia gun owners: Get out of Dodge ASAP and settle in Texas with your guns and ammo. If you are a liberal or a muslim, pick another State. We don’t want you here.

Im from Germany and you guys probably know we have pretty strict gun laws.
Did you know you have to wait a whole year before even getting a permit to own a firearm? And even if you do you cant buy more than one Weapon in 9 months.
Yet we have a higher per capita rate of school schootings.
People will always search for a Scapegoat. In my Country its violent Video Games because Getting a Gun Permit is already as hard as a law exam.
In the US People blame it on the Guns. Bad shit happens if you take the easiest solution to any Problem, especially gun related Violence.

If this law passes, and I’m not saying it should, crush the system. California’s jails are overcrowded, it’s police are outnumbered. Force the National Guard into action. The day the law goes into effect, ALL gun owners in California should proudly walk outside their residence, armed and with a sign saying “just try it.”
There are not enough places to put all the offenders. The law is not well thought out at all. An act of simple “passive” defiance of that magnitude is enough to scare the crap out of any liberal. What the president and liberals in general fear the most, is the loss of fear. They think they are untouchable. Instead if moving out of California, I say that everyone from other states should have a giant sit in… A state wide “gun cleaning” day.
Simply to “support” gun owners in California and aid them in making sure their guns are clean and ready for action if needed.

Gun companies need to offer price breaks to local gun stores, increase market shares, mandate maximum prices to prevent price fixing & refuse to participate in any contracts involving a California state agency.
