Today, the CDC announced they are now preparing for what they see as the “likely” spread of the CoV-19 Cornavirus within the United States. The admission comes as 328 Americans who were quarantined aboard the Diamond Princess, the cruise ship where coronavirus had exploded into a shipwide epidemic, were flown into the United States with at least 14 passengers who were infected with the virus.
According to the Washington Post, the CDC was vehemently opposed to flying the infected passengers with uninfected passengers but was overruled by the U.S. State Department.
The CoVid-19 coronavirus, which officially began in China in December, has so far killed 2,250 people and infected another 76,800 worldwide. While the majority of cases are still in mainland China, we are starting to see larger outbreaks in other countries which has some warning that it’s only a matter of time before CoVid-19 Cornavirus is officially declared a global pandemic.
In a media briefing with reporters, Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters Friday that the U.S. is “preparing as if this were the next pandemic, but we are hopeful still that this is not and will not be the case.”
“We’re not seeing community spread here in the United States, yet, but it’s very possible, even likely, that it may eventually happen,” she said. “Our goal continues to be slowing the introduction of the virus into the U.S. This buys us more time to prepare communities for more cases and possibly sustained spread.”
She warned that the “day may come” here where we have to shut down schools and businesses as China has done.

Earlier in the day, World Health Organization officials said they were concerned with reports of a CoV-19 virus outbreak in Iran, where local health officials confirmed 18 new cases and 4 deaths in just two days. The cases were not reported until after the deaths, leading many medical experts to believe there could be a larger outbreak than what is being reported. They have also exported at least two cases in the last 36 hours.
Starting to see worrying Spread outside of China
We are starting to see some troubling signs the coronavirus outbreak is entering a new phase, with spread outside of Mainland China beginning to rapidly increase.
Over the last couple of days we have seen a sharp rise of the number of cases in South Korea, which went from 30 cases on Monday to 346 confirmed cases by Friday.
The fact that Iran is already exporting cases suggests transmission there is far more widespread than the official numbers suggest, said Michael Osterholm, director of the University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Diseases Research and Policy.
Authorities in northern Italy on Friday ordered the shut down of schools, bars and other public spaces in 10 towns after a spike in new coronavirus cases.
“We need to start with assumption that we will be facing a
pandemic,” said Caitlin Rivers, an assistant professor of epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. “If that doesn’t come to pass, then great. But I think we have an opportunity to learn from the lessons that we’re observing in
Hubei province. And it’s in our best interest to lean in on that.”
34 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the US
The CDC reported that at least 34 people in the United States are infected with the covid-19 virus. Of those infected, 13 were travelers who fell ill after returning from a trip abroad, and 21 were people who were “repatriated” by the State Department.
People are not sticking to U.S. Quarantines
There is growing concern that the U.S. government is not prepared to tackle a pandemic outbreak. In fact, the supposed quarantines put in place by the CDC seem to be an outright joke.
Last week, AP News actually ran an article profiling Dr. Ian Lipkin, the Director of Columbia University’s Center for Infection and Immunity.
Lipkin returned from China and was supposed to self-quarantine. Instead of staying home, the dipshit doctors bragged to the reporter how he uses his time in quarantine to take walks in New York’s Central Park .
Problems with CDC coronavirus test delay expanded U.S. screening
To further highlight there complete inability to get there shit together, today the CDC announced they have delayed the Trump administration’s efforts to expand screening to state and local public health labs, because of problems with the coronavirus test.
Former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb told POLITICO, by that point, it may be harder to contain spread, and we’ll be forced to rely on mitigation tactics to just limit the impact of the virus.”
As of 21 February 2020 at 8:04 p.m. ET There are currently 77,812 confirmed cases worldwide, including 2,360 fatalities.

What can you do to protect yourself from the Virus?
At this point it’s getting harder and harder to trust so-called “official” numbers. It’s also becoming clear that the world is grossly unprepared to face a global pandemic.
We also know Facebook and Twitter are actively censoring Coronavirus posts, claiming the are trying to stop online misinformation, conspiracy theories and fear about the mysterious illness.
Facebook’s head of health Kang-Xing Jin, said in a blog post last month that it has a third-party team of fact-checkers reviewing content related to the virus.
“When they rate information as false, we limit its spread on Facebook and Instagram and show people accurate information from these partners,” Jin wrote. “We also send notifications to people who already shared or are trying to share this content to alert them that it’s been fact-checked.”
Unfortunately, many of the the so-called conspiracies have already turned out to be true, and remember during the early days China claimed the virus itself was a conspiracy, so you have to ask yourself what are they really trying to hide and why? In fact, our site has been hit hard as well — with over 300,000 followers are reach has been limited so much that are posts on Facebook reach less than 1% of those people. It’s a pretty odd thing seeing as we have only shared information from official sources like the CDC, so again why are these tech giants so scared of websites like ours?
Our the purposely trying to keep you ill-informed?
You will likely not know until it’s to late!
In all likelihood if a pandemic outbreak occurs, you will not know or be told until it’s to late to prepare. If you think that’s Hyperbole, President Trump himself defended China’s alleged cover-up of the Cornavirus by saying “you wouldn’t want to run out to the world and go crazy and start saying whatever it is because you don’t want to create a panic.”
And that really is the truth, no government is going to admit how bad it is until they absolutely have to. Whether it’s this crisis, or a future outbreak, the risk of crashing the economy and the inevitable shit show to follow is not something they are willing to risk.
Once the media and the government admit there is a pandemic, all hell is going to break loose among the unprepared masses!
Walmart will be wiped clean, and if you don’t think that will happen just look for YouTube videos of Walmart during something predictable like a hurricane. Then look up videos from Wuhan, you’re not going to like what you see!
We urge you to at least have a 2-3 week supply of food and water on hand to be able to sustain a scenario like what we are seeing in China. I would also urge you to read our article on Pandemics and How to Prepare for a Pandemic Outbreak.
When it comes to panic buying of Masks, gloves, sanitizer. If you don’t have N-95 masks now your out of luck unless you want to pay 3x-5x retail prices of just a month ago. Plus most large retailers are out of stock. E bay have some but very pricy. Personally I would highly recommend you buy some this weekend as the WHO and CDC seem to be really close to pulling the trigger on a Pandemic Status announcement.
Agreed Broadwing… if you don’t have the needed food, water, supplies and equipment now for an emergency, you are basically screwed. If you take action this weekend, you and your family might accumulate enough stuff for a few weeks but in my estimation, a full blown pandemic would last months if not a year or two before we could stop the expansion–and that is assuming that a vaccine is developed and implemented in the mean time. In that case, you will need to bug in or bug out to your homestead which most of us do not have.
The people that will survive in the U.S. will be those folks that live in isolated areas of the country and are in fact prepared for a serious emergency…Marshal Law will prevail of-course meaning that travel will be extremally restricted accept for those folk that fighting the spread of the virus.
