Two people are dead and one is in critical condition after a gunman opened fire during service this morning at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas.
The shooting was caught during a live internet stream of the church service (the streamed video on YouTube has since been taken down). A man dressed in a black trench coat with a hood jumped up and started shooting members of the church.
Luckily, at least five armed members of the church instantly responded and jumped into action as soon as the shooting started. Within three seconds of the first shot, one member shot the shooter and killed him before he could harm more people.
Emergency services were dispatched to the Church of Christ on Sunday morning around 9:57 a.m after receiving a call about a shooting and gunshot wounds.
The shooter is dead, one victim is dead and another victim has been transported to the hospital, @FOX4 has learned. The ages between the three range from 30-60 years old. Multiple agencies responding to the scene.

Mike Drivdahl, a spokesman for the Forth Worth Fire Department, said three people were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
“A very tragic day when anybody in our community suffers,” he told reporters at a brief news conference. “Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families who are affected by this.”
Fort Worth police and fire were at the scene assisting White Settlement agencies, he said. Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were also at the scene.

WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reported that the church shooting was captured on a live stream of Sunday’s worship service. In the video, which has since been taken down, a person stands and pulls out a weapon, then appears to fire twice before another person shoots back, according to WFAA.

Okay, folks, first of all, I kinda sense that some troll agents are trying to provoke good people here to react with the FALSE issue of racism-to stir up anger and division among the patriots and Christians who love this nation and love our neighbor. As Lincoln said, quoting Jesus, “A house divided cannot stand.” So one of satan’s and his agents tactics is to provoke us to get angry and bitter with each other so we fight each other instead of the real enemy. But per God’s word, all of us human beings, apart from Jesus have a sin nature that can drive us to lie, steal, lust OR kill. That’s true for any ethnicity whether white, black, brown or red. But Jesus came to transform our nature as we put our faith in Him and so anyone-whether, black, brown, white, etc-can receive His new nature which is love, truth, goodness, etc. So the issue is sin not skin-and Jesus took care of sin on the cross-not by religion.And so He wants all of us to receive this wonderful free gift.
So I would urge all true patriots who love this nation to ignore all the comments stirring up strife and division through racial comments regardless of the motive which are totally irrelevant to the issue. If you let them provoke you to react, you play into their hands to undermine the discussion and fuel their efforts.

What an amazing story of courage literally under fire. And one more proof among many of our Founders wisdom in creating the 2nd Amendment.
So we must defend the 2nd Amendment-but also the First Amendment. Both are essential to defense of lives and liberty. IN particular, I speak of the right to exercise our faith, particularly the Judeo-Christian faith our Founders greatly stressed as the Foundation of our nation and liberties.
Thus, when o or more would-be tyrants seek to gain powertwo things will he/she seek to outlaw. Obviously, we know they will try to outlaw guns. But they will also equally try to outlaw Bibles and the Christian faith. Guns protect externally from the threats that endanger lives and liberty. But the Bible, and its truths along with the Christian faith arm the inner man and woman with supernatural strength and conviction to fearlessly resist and stand up to tyrants and those possessed by evil. I do not mean religion but true inner faith in Christ which inside empowers and emboldens a man, woman or even a child to take necessary action to stop tyranny or criminals.
Bottom-line, we have two powerful weapons that make tyrants and criminals tremble: strength from without and strength on the outside.
Such inner and outer weapons empowered our ragtag army of American colonists to stand up and conquer the then most powerful nation and army on earth and win our freedoms.
My name is Glen and I attend Freedom Biker Church in North Carolina I open carry everywhere I go not to affend anyone but to defend everyone no matter of color,creed,or religion because it’s my God given and American 2nd amendment right to defend myself and those that cannot. What happened in that church was tragic but also a blessing. It’s happening all over the USA and all over the world thank God we live in a country that we have the right to defend ourselves and others. My heart and prayers go out to the families that lost loved ones and the upmost gratitude to those that chose to stand up and risk their lives to stop an individual obvious with problems nobody will probably know about. I’m just proud to say I’m prepared to do the same if ever put in this situation no matter where I may be. Thank God for the 2nd amendment and the people that understand that there are good people still willing to stand up and support it and know how to respect firearms and know how to use them in the productive way that was intended. Pass on the knowledge and respect that American citizens should have learned like I did when I was growing up practice gun safety pass it on and teach it to our children and help somebody if you can thank you and God bless everybody!

The terrorist at NAS Pensacola, who was a saudi flight student, started shooting in the chapel. His intent was clear as was his motive. They tell us if we see something, say something. Many people attended his party the night before. No one said a word. You have to ask yourself why? Did someone see something in this case but was too scared to say something because it wouldn’t be politically correct or scared to wrongly accuse for fear of being labeled a racist or bigot? Sometimes race and religion matter. It doesn’t make you a racist asking about the shooters demographics. How are you supposed to know what to look for so you can say something if you see something or someone that seemingly is out of place. Like a devout Muslim walking into a Christian chapel less than 12 hours after hosting a ISIS mass murder video party?
The irony is that pulling a gun to defend your fellow churchgoers from someone else with a gun, is as unchristian a thing to do as there could ever be. It’s utterly contradictory to the actual teachings of Jesus. It is however perfectly in line with the example set by Tyr, the god of war from Norse mythology. The reality is that no white person who calls themselves a “Christian” but believes in family values or the right to bear arms, is actually a Christian. Jesus utterly opposed those things. All those white people who call themselves “Christians” but who love guns and love their families, are really just pagans who’ve been tricked into thinking that they’re Christians even though they aren’t. They think they’re faithful to Jesus, yet the ways they actually behave show that they’re actually faithful to Odin, Freya, Thor, Tyr and Baldur, and utterly unfaithful to Jesus, whether they know it or not. Those gun-toting churchgoers are a perfect example of that.
Oh yeah, and never forget that if you need to stop someone quickly, brain shots are the way to go. It’s true that the chest is a bigger target than the head. However, shooting someone in the chest will only stop them quickly if you hit them in the heart or a major blood vessel, and the human heart / major blood vessels are actually much smaller targets than the human brain is, plus it’s also harder to see where they are since they’re buried deep in the human chest. On the other hand, the human brain is a much bigger target, and it’s easy to see where it is because it fills up most of the head. Plus, a gunshot anywhere to the brain, with any reasonable cartridge, usually drops someone instantly due to hydrostatic shock even if it doesn’t ultimately kill them, whereas a gunshot to the heart or a major blood vessel usually takes a few seconds to incapacitate someone.
