Citizenry Fights Back: Protestors Take to the Streets over Coronavirus Stay-home Orders

Many Americans are waking up to the fact that they may have been scammed into shutting down the country and locking themselves indoors over a virus that in the last 5 months has failed to reach even normal seasonal flu numbers.

This week, freedom-loving Americans took to the streets in Michigan to protest their governor’s tyrannical stay-at-home orders that have been some of the biggest attacks on civil liberties in the country. Thousands of protesters on foot and in vehicles converged Wednesday on Michigan’s capital, to protest Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s unconstitutional actions.

Meshawn Maddock, an organizer for the group, said the demonstrators include Republicans, Democrats, and independents.

“Quarantine is when you restrict the movement of sick people. Tyranny is when you restrict the movement of healthy people,” Maddock told Fox News. “Every person has learned a harsh lesson about social distancing. We don’t need a nanny state to tell people how to be careful.”

The movement has spread to State Capitals throughout the country and even around the world.

Throughout the week in Ohio, protestors have gathered at the Statehouse to to make their voices heard during the press conference held by Gov. Mike DeWine, Lt. Gov. Jon Husted, and Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton.

In Frankfort, Kentucky, small-business owners gathered to protest Gov. Andy Beshear’s unconstitutional orders that they say kills free enterprise by shuttering businesses and ordering people to stay home.

On Monday, over 100 protesters rallied in downtown Raleigh demanding Gov. Roy Cooper’s reopen North Carolina and protesting his stay-home, saying the order is an unconstitutional overreach that will kill the state’s small businesses.

The state of North Carolina declared protesting to be a “non-essential” activity.

More protests are planned, with one outside Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s mansion on Saturday. Two more are set for April 24 in Madison, Wis., and in Richmond, Va.

In other parts of the world, people are growing increasingly frustrated at being locked down over a pandemic that has failed to live up to the global hype.

Dozens of Ultra-Orthodox Haredi rioters clashed with police forces in Jerusalem’s Mea Shearim neighborhood Tuesday night during a protest against the lockdown imposed in the area.

Stopping a virus, or a Crackdown on Liberty?

We have a so-called pandemic that is supposedly so serious that the World Health Organization has actually claimed we need to start thinking about removing sick people from their homes.  But if you take a rational look at the actual Coronavirus infection numbers and death numbers, in 5 months,  this super “deadly contagion” has only been able to infect .018% of the global population.

  1. I had, still have bad vibes about this disease especially since I’m in a age group and medical issues group that’s highly susceptible to becoming severely ill if infected. Basically my SO and I are homebodies anyway so all this shelter in place has cost me money wise is some extra food supply build up of mostly pantry items, and N-95 masks, gloves, and two large bottles of hand sanitizer. It also has allowed me to test my SHTF plans on a real op in real time showing me where I have gaps that need to be addressed if the situation got worse or we entered a more deadly phase.

I am surprised at all the survivalists who are bitching about having to follow guidance to stay safe. Of all groups they should be the best prepared to handle an emergency bogus or not, but many have failed or are failing by continuing to go out without proper protection!

  2. “governor’s tyrannical stay-at-home orders” are you kidding?. It is for your own safety, We don´t want you out in the streets infecting others… Use your minnimal brain once in your life

  3. I went to school in Raleigh and lived there for many years before moving to California. Having grown up in western North Carolina, we always looked at Raleigh with respect, being that it is the state capitol. It hurts my heart to see that my home state, which actually had license plates at one time that said, “First in Freedom,” has come so very far from freedom that I felt like I was watching something from the former Soviet Union. It seems obvious that police have been hired, being that there were so many in this small downtown space. It’s telling as well that these armed government workers are all following orders, just as in Nazi Germany. I would certainly hate to be a neighbor to one of them. Thank you for posting this video. My husband and I met in Raleigh and we have friends who are still there, but with a police department like this, we certainly don’t want to return.
