For years, pro-gun Americans have claimed that the Democrats have no interest in stopping criminals from owning guns, but instead are only interested in going after law-abiding patriotic Americans, well we now have proof that gun control is nothing more but a ploy to disarm patriotic gun owners.
Last month, House Democrats pushed a bill encouraging states to enact “Red Flag” gun confiscation laws. But a funny thing happened, instead of targeting criminals, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee rejected an amendment that would have red-flagged known criminal gang members.
Ken Buck, a Republican representative of Colorado, stated the following on the subject:
“The majority of violent crime, including gun violence, in the United States is linked to gangs,” … “My amendment is quite simple. It would allow the issuance of a red flag order against anyone whose name appears in a gang database if there was probable cause to include that individual in the database.”
While it was reported in the media, it gained very little traction; in fact, the NRA did nothing to highlight the fact that these Red Flag laws have nothing to do with going after criminals. But that’s probably because the NRA is trying to limit how much they talk about Red Flag laws since the organization that is supposed to be fighting for our second amendment rights has on numerous occasions expressed their support of the unconstitutional laws!
To add to the madness, Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California said the only way they would support adding gang members to the red flag laws was if they added White Nationalists – because apparently thought crimes are a bigger concern to these bastards than stopping actual criminal gang members.
Think about it. They want to ban White Nationalists from owning a gun, but they won’t go after criminal gang organizations like MS-13 or the Mexican drug cartels who are openly operating throughout the United States. So someone who loves their country, and just happens to be white, is now a bigger threat to Democratic lawmakers than murdering gang bangers and inner-city thugs.
I mean it makes sense; they are pandering towards the people who are voting for them – criminals! But this should once and for all show what their true motives really are. Gun control has NOTHING to do with going after actual criminals. It’s all about removing guns from patriotic gun owners who democrats see as a threat.

With gang members,I doubt to many purchased their weapons through legitimate sources? So enforcing red flag laws against them wouldn’t work anyway. Mr. Joe Citizen is a lot easier target for confiscation as he probably won’t blow away anyone coming for his guns like gangs would!
