Ferguson Chaos: Store Owners Arm themselves as Police do Nothing to Stop Looters from Burning Stores

The chaos in Ferguson, Missouri is now out of control as rioters are attempting to burn and loot stores throughout the city. During the last couple of hours multiple stores have been looted and rioters have attempted to set a number of them on fire.

Store owners are arming themselves to protect their stores because police are now refusing to stop the rioters who are looting stores only feet away from where officers are standing. Two business owners, standing outside their business holding guns, told Fox2Now.com that they tried calling 911, but were sent from one police agency to another who refused to respond to their calls for help.

  2. Based on results, the Federales Nortenos are good at confronting peaceful protesters by pointing rifles into crowds, firing rubber bullets at people standing in their own front yards, throwing flash bang grenades into the street and tear gas into residential neighborhoods and playing army dressed in desert camouflage.

Once the actual criminal element shows up (usually after dark), they run and hide.

Which begs the question: Why do we pay all these guys? Wouldn’t if work just as well to have a Sheriff with a few Deputies and a lot of armed citizens who can be deputized in an emergency? If we are going to have to defend our lives and property anyway, why pay a bunch of fools to play army?

    • You are the fool! Take your happy ass out there and stop them in your t-shirt and political correctness. Your scenario with the Sheriff would be a bunch of fools playing army, moron.

  3. unfortunly;;;
shooting a unarmed (LOOTER) will not get you off the hook.
Idiot (LOOTERS) just don’t care they are going to steal it -or- burn you out.it’s all they know.

  4. This is a Good Early show of the problem. What ever Law Enforcement does their wrong. Law Enforcement needs the help of Citizens to help keep the Peace in any community. LE cannot be everywhere all the time, 200 looters out number the LE but not the Citizenry. LE have legal restrictions that Citizens don’t. When the SHTF LE and US Military are out numbered, that’s why LE professional understand why the 2nd Amendment is so important.

    • You are so fortunate to have the right to bear arms. In Canada we don’t even have the right to buy a gun. The powers that be, have us right where they want us.All the power to u , like vampires don’t let them suck u dry.Give them what they came for. a free ride, give them the scenic route straight to hell!

  5. Don’t care what color they are , Loot and DIE ! The Thug that got shoot deserved it ! Want to be a THUG and Steal and Rob ? Prepare to be dealt with …No Quarter asked ..None Given….

  6. The US is dying from a million cuts. Part of the reason the USA is a nanny police state now is that whenever there is a problem, the kneejerk reaction in the US is to call for a new law.

Nanny state laws are not the best solution, however. Nanny state laws lead to more laws, higher fines, and tougher sentences. Thirty years ago, DWI laws were enacted that led to DWI checkpoints and lower DWI levels. Seatbelt laws led to backseat seatbelt laws, childseat laws, and pet seatbelt laws. Car liability insurance laws led to health insurance laws and gun liability laws. Smoking laws that banned smoking in buildings led to laws against smoking in parks and then bans against smoking in entire cities. Sex offender registration laws led to sex offender restriction laws and violent offender registration laws.

Nanny state laws don’t make us safer, either. Nanny state laws lead people to be careless since they don’t need to have personal responsibility anymore. People don’t need to be careful crossing the street now because drunk-driving has been outlawed and driving while using a cellphone is illegal. People don’t investigate companies or carry out due diligence because businesses must have business licenses now.

The main point of nanny state laws is not safety. The main purpose of more laws is revenue generation for the state.

Many laws are contradictory, too. Some laws say watering lawns is required, while other laws say watering lawns is illegal.

Many nanny state laws that aim to solve a problem can be fixed by using existing laws. If assault is already illegal, why do we need a new law that outlaws hitting umpires?

Nanny state laws are not even necessary. If everything was legal would you steal, murder, and use crack cocaine? Aren’t there other ways to solve problems besides calling the police? Couldn’t people talk to people who bother them? Couldn’t people be sued for annoying behavior? Couldn’t people just move away? Even if assault was legal, wouldn’t attackers risk being killed or injured, too? Having no laws doesn’t mean actions have no consequences.

If there is no victim, there is no crime.

We don’t need thousands of laws when we only need 10.

Freedom is not just a one way street. You can only have freedom for yourself if you allow others to have it.

    Think. Question everything.
