As businesses make plans to start reopening, hyperboles jackasses like Bill Gates and Dr. Fauci, who are both pushing for mass-vaccination programs, are warning that life will never return back to normal until we can track those who are “infected” and mass-vaccinate the world.
Over the last week, lawmakers on both political sides of the aisle have started pushing for legislation that would set up a U.S. surveillance system for coronavirus.
Dr. Gottlieb, who ran the FDA from 2017 to 2019, released a report on the “roadmap to reopening” Tuesday with Mark McClellan, a physician, an economist who ran the FDA under President George W. Bush. “I’m worried we don’t have the systems in place to carefully reopen the economy,”
Dr. Gottieb said in an interview. “You need to be able to identify people who are sick and have the tools to enforce their isolation and [tracing of people they contact]. You have to have it at a scale we’ve never done before. We need leadership.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, several states are already moving forward with some sort of tracking and surveillance programs. San Miguel County in Colorado, using a test from United Biomedical, has plans to check all its residents for immunity. Republican Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker last week announced a coronavirus tracking initiative that will involve 1,000 people working at a virtual call center to trace people exposed or infected with the virus.
Former CDC Director Tom Frieden is pushing for the White House to reorient an existing surveillance system housed within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention called the National Syndromic Surveillance Program.
“In an emergency, what works best is scaling up existing robust systems, not trying to create a new system,” said former CDC Director Tom Frieden. “Use the systems you have.”

Google to release your location data to help lockdown movement and fight coronavirus
Google is already using its existing Geo-Location tracking technology to track the movements of people around the world to produce a series of reports designed to help lawmakers “fight against the coronavirus.” The reports “aim to provide insights into what has changed in response to policies aimed at combating COVID-19,” the company wrote on the website where the reports are posted.
“As global communities respond to COVID-19, we’ve heard from public health officials that the same type of aggregated, anonymized insights we use in products such as Google Maps could be helpful as they make critical decisions to combat COVID-19,” Google wrote, presenting its mountain of intrusive data collection as a positive. “We hope these reports will help support decisions about how to manage the COVID-19 pandemic,” it added, suggesting that location data from its users’ devices could “help officials understand changes in essential trips,” inform businesses and help local governments plan and provide more efficient transport services, thus limiting the deadly virus’ spread.
“The reports chart movement trends over time by geography, across different categories of places such as retail and recreation, groceries and pharmacies, parks, transit stations, workplaces, and residential.”
Not to be outdone, Facebook joins the new Coronavirus surveillance state
Facebook has revealed that they are using the company’s considerable reserves of personal data to help “fight the pandemic.”
Like Google’s mobility reports that use location metadata, Facebook’s new tools will use data on population movements and connectedness to help predict the spread of the virus and provide insight on the effectiveness of lockdown measures.
The Crackdown on Civil Liberties
Isn’t it funny how this virus has provided the perfect opportunity for some, to push measures that Americans would have never before approved? Things that fly in the face of this county’s founding and our Bill of Rights?
There are 7,771,772,400 people in the world; so far only .001052166% of the world’s population has died as a result of the virus. Tragic, yes for those who were affected, but is that really a number that justifies locking down the entire world and shredding the constitution?
I’m pretty sure we had much larger public health hazards during the days of our country’s founding, yet the founders didn’t write a provision into the Bill of Rights allowing for the suspension of liberties during a public health crisis.
