U.S. Military Academy Release Report: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right

Is the Federal Government trying to Poison Army Officers minds against American Public?

West Point ReportIn an unbelievable attempt to try to infiltrate the thinking of American soldiers, a think tank at West Point has released a report that paints conservatives as homeland terrorists while labeling liberals as the future of America.

The report titled. “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right”, was issued by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. It attempts to tie the conservative movement to racist groups, and paints the “far right” as one of the top threats to the nation.

While describing the difference between liberalism and conservatism the study’s authors state:

“Liberal worldviews are future or progressive oriented, conservative perspectives are more past-oriented, and in general, are interested in preserving the status quo.”

It goes on to state, far-right groups’ ideology is designed to exclude minorities and foreigners, the liberal-democratic system is designed to emphasize civil rights, minority rights and the balance of power.”

While some of the groups mentioned in this report are definitely a problem, I find it extremely troubling that the U.S. Military Academy would attempt to tie them to conservatives, especially considering the fact that many of these groups were originally started by the democratic party. While I would never associate any of these modern-day hate groups with either party; if this report was an honest assessment of these groups, they should at least get the historical facts right.

In my opinion, this report is nothing more than attempt to poison the minds of the military against the American People. If this report was an honest assessment of homeland threats, why is conservative thinking singled out while liberalism is heralded as the hope for the future?

Ever notice it’s always the “far-right” that’s demonized. Like their trying to chase us closer to the left, step by step. “It’s okay to be a republican as long as you’re a reasonable, moderate conservative or left-leaning one; not one of those hate-filled extreme right wing wackos.” The whole republican party (at least the leaders) are sliding every more left. In the past I would have been considered a middle of the road (or slightly more right) conservative. Now I would be considered extreme right-wing. And the left wing leaders are sliding from democrats to socialists.

Exactly! I have seen more violence from the left than the right… In fact I have not seen any violence from the right that I can remember. There was, however, A report that I am still trying to verify and that the mass shooters of late are all left dems and libs.. Or if thy are to young to vote then the parents are left, lib or dems….

Good thing every officer from west point I’ve seen in combat is about as deadly as a small cat in heat.

As a current military officer of 32+ years, I’m keeping my guns and will shoot the first dumb bastard who comes thru my door. Infact, I’ll shoot the first 30 dumb bastards. After that, all bets are off.

Congress has an 8% approval rating. THAT’S WHY THEY WANT OUR GUNS. Americans are a RCH away from taking off the gloves. With guns, we’re Citizens, without guns, we’re Subjects. I’M NO SUBJECT!
