it wasn’t a cyberattack, it was someone who lost their job post maintenance window config update cause they fubarred BGP propogation on main routers. the FCC also liekly fined the crap out of AT&T.
also little known fact, AT&T is the backhaul backbone of Verizon and T-mo, as they have the largest network across the nation, essentially a shadow monopoly.
