Add North Carolina to the list of American Nuclear Reactors that are experiencing problems. Over the weekend, the nuclear reactor at North Carolina State University, in the Burlington Nuclear Engineering Laboratory, started leaking small amounts of radioactive water.
Yet again, officials insist that “there is no threat to the public”, but how many of these old failing nuclear reactors have to experience problems before people start taking the threat seriously?
So what does the average citizen have to get to be safe from nuclear accidents? Where’s the Radiation Survival topic?
