Last year, I wrote an article about giving the gift of preparedness. In the article, I suggested that instead of buying your friends and family a bunch of useless crap, it might be a better idea to give them the gift of preparedness. It can be a great way to introduce preparedness into the lives of your unprepared friends and family.
I want to challenge our readers to do that again. Instead of buying a bunch of random gifts, why not give the gift of Preparedness? It can be something direct, like a survival book or survival kit; or it can be something a little stealthier, like an emergency vehicle kit.

Good idea but I’ve seen this attempted in the past and it had no effect whatsoever… at least for my extended family.
Multi-tool would be better than the nothing they have now and they might actually carry it.
I wish some one would give an idea for gifts from people that have no money.

Nothing wrong with camping, fishing, or hunting gear across the board. Especially if you give it to the kids. Fishing rods for the kids can change an entire family’s lifestyle. :)
I’m going with paracord survival bracelets i weave myself, mora , or Boker plus titans. good price quality and useful.
Anyone have any great ideas for small stocking stuffers along these lines? All my family will be flying in so TSA-friendly(such an oxymoron) is required.
