  1. All deliberate.

Look at the problem with “savings” the banks at best would give even “high rate” CDs at percentages at least five points LOWER than inflation (artificial).

Only a fool would have put his retirement into standard banking products, this forced millions into the stock market – a casino at best – but the high flying 80s and 90s gave way to the loss of savings for millions due to the gamble of the stock market.

The oligarchy wins, the fraud of fractional reserve banking rules the world, and the S is about to HTF.

  2. WE are on the Dave Ramsey plan, work’n on get’n rid of that debt…+ prep’n TEOTWAWKI……….

  3. prep now. forget about debt, they will have no way to collect if everything shuts down and all the money in the banks won,t mean anything if the bank is closed or just dosen,t have any money due to gov. shutdown.if you are expecting your wealth to help in a s.h.t.f. case you will be one of the non-surviviors.and please don,t come to me to share my stored and fresh grown food supplies.i might owe money when it is over but i will still be here, safe healthy and well fed!!!!!!!

  4. That’s just too depressing and is precisely why I avoid the daily news. Now, where did I leave my beer… gotta drown my sorrows. :)

  5. I cannot fathom how or why a person would amass this much debt, squander the money they go to work for everyday (for those of us that actually work), and be so ignorant as to not save anything. For me, I get more satisfaction from saving than buying. For most of my working life, once I graduated college, I intentionally worked at multiple jobs so that I could have money to live from one job and have money to save from another.
