Well it seems that people who consume energy drinks are downright crazy, well at least that’s what a new study by the Journal of American College Health seems to suggest.
The Study looked into the links between energy drinks, athletics, and so called risky behavior. Researchers found that those who consumed high amounts of energy drinks, engaged in risky and aggressive behaviors including substance abuse and violence.
Kathleen Miller of the University of Buffalo suggests that parents need to be aware of the risks. She says, children consuming energy drinks are more inclined to take risks with their health and safety.
While this study isn’t exactly rocket science, it does shed light on the problems with energy drinks. I mean does anyone really think consuming 10 Red Bulls a day is a good idea? Do you really need that much caffeine?
