Survival Kit Item – Playing Cards

Sometimes the littlest things can make a huge difference in a survival situation. Having a way of entertaining yourself can help you keep your mind sharp, and your morale up.

If you lose hope in a survival situation you’re as good as dead.

Playing cards can be a great addition to your Bug Out Bag or your hiking backpack. Playing Cards are light weight, and are a great way to keep negative thoughts from creeping into your head. I recommend the mini cards or a good set of waterproof cards.

There are decks of playing cards that also have survival information on each card.

They’re pretty light. I’d say a couple of ounces at most.
