Couldn’t agree more. The SAS Survival Handbook in particular has earned a special place in my heart (and my bug out bag!). A wide variety of extremely useful information, from basic survival skills and first aid to advanced navigation techniques and beyond.
Cody Lundin’s “When All Hell Breaks Loose” is also noteworthy, not only for the wealth of information available within, but also for his entertaining writing style. If you find yourself needing to kill some time on the trail, or want a dual purpose survival handbook to pack in your bag (entertaining and informative? yes please!), it’s definitely worth checking out.
