New Hampshire wants to Bill for Rescue efforts

New Hampshire is trying to pass a bill that would allow them to start billing hikers that need to be rescued.

It’s about time!!!! Why should taxpayers pay for a rescue mission to pick up some moron that had no business being where they were in the first place? A majority of rescues can be prevented if people just used a little bit of common sense.

I hope more states follow New Hampshire’s Lead. Maybe this will cut down on the amount of times rescuers have to risk their lives to go pick up some genius who decided to take his camera instead of a water bottle into the scorching desert. Let’s leave the rescue teams to help real emergencies not ones that could have been prevented.
