More Dead Birds?

We linked to a story a couple days ago about the dead birds in Arkansas; now we are seeing reports that something similar happening near Baton Rouge, LA.

Early reports are saying that at least 500 birds were found dead on a stretch of highway just outside New Roads, La.

At least 500 dead and dying birds were stretched across a quarter-mile section of highway in Pointe Coupee, Parish.  State Wildlife Veterinarian, Jim LaCour told the local paper that he wasn’t alarmed.

Well he might not be alarmed, but there are a whole lot of people who want a better answer! Something weird is going on and hearing stupid excuses like the birds died because of stress from loud fireworks is just plain idiotic.

Something is going on that made these birds die, and I think we need a better explanation.

In an update to the Story from Arkansas, we are getting reports that residents are still finding very sick birds throughout the community of Bebe. One local said “the birds are acting very weird….. You can walk right up to them and they just kind of sit there looking sick. They don’t even try to fly away”

UPDATE:
Add Kentucky to the list of places where birds are dropping from the sky. Of course, the morons in the media are still giving lame excuses to what’s going on.

UPDATE: 100 Tons of dead fish found on the shores of Brazil and over 10,000 dead fish on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.

  1. It is pretty obvious what happened. 2010 had the largest increase of UFO sightings in history. These birds just ran into a cloaked UFO and had a massive tissue eruption from the EMF. UFO does not just mean “from outer space”. Defense aircraft are now able to be totally invisible. Just read about this on PopSci.com

  2. NorthernSurvivalist, without knowing why they died, I wouldn’t touch the meat with a ten-foot bargepole. Suppose the reason they died was because they’d got into a store and eaten fungicide-coated grain? Those birds would be toxic, no matter how high a heat or for how long you cooked them.

As to why it’s happening? I suspect it always has. I can remember ‘rains’ of frogs – very biblical and also other mass deaths of birds. What has happened now is that there has been one mass death that has made the news, and the media has gone overboard looking for other cases. Since the first news, there’s been turtle doves in Italy, crabs in Kent, England, jackdaws in Sweden, fish, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together – whoops, went a bit Ghostbusters there. :-)

Of course, it could also be the end of the world……..

  3. UFO was my first thought. Possibly the world is shifting and the animals will be the first to know. Right out of revelation either way!
