  1. There is another way to catch fish. A cloth sack, some rocks, and crushed black walnuts/w husks, or Apricot, or peach pits.

    Put them in the bag and crush them, then put the rocks in and throw them in the water. This creates a cyanide poison. The poison bonds in the fish blood so they don’t get oxygen. But they are safe to eat.

  2. Excellent set of articles! May I add that while your brain is your best survival tool, your MIND can be your biggest obstacle to survival!

    Do not attempt to minimize the role your emotions, reactions, and state of mind have during the struggle of a survival situation. I know, I’ve been through 3 survival situations.
